The regeneration of Snow Hill Birmingham by Ballymore Properties created a new gateway for Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and included the creation of a new park at the foot of St Chads Cathedral. The scheme was built above a large podium deck, designed to carry the new metro rail system and involved complex movement and expansion joints and numerous vent structures. A long green facade system forms a living face to the multi-storey car park adjacent to the site.
